Trusted platform module windows 10 error7/20/2023 ![]() It says in security center I'm eligible for "enhanced hardware security." What is that and how do I enable it? I searched the web and found "Intel Hardware Security." Is that it? Do I download and install it? Or how do I enable it. This thread is solved but I do have other questions about more security stuff on Windows 10 Enterprise. I will go back to a restore point and never enable in Grou Policy. I tried disabling DG/CG in GPO, but it still gives the error on TPM. And it gives the same error as before in Device Manager. Now, TPM doesn't show up in Defender Security Center. In the Turn off the TPM security hardware dialog box, select a method to enter your owner password and turning off the TPM: If you saved your TPM owner. ![]() In the Action pane, select Turn TPM Off to display the Turn off the TPM security hardware page. After using Microsoft's DG/CG Readiness tool, I successfully enabled CRedntial Guard etc.Today, I went into Grou Policy and noticed Device Guad wasn't enabled. To turn off the TPM (TPM 1.2 with Windows 10, version 1507 and higher) Open the TPM MMC (tpm.msc). Incase anywone is wondering, I came up with another problem.
